Hey Liz,

Thanks for the shout-out! Not so sure about the pic though ;)

Have to say, I loved your talk. It's been something that has been bothering me for some time, and you really helped to get me thinking about the problem from another perspective.

Thanks for the poem! This is a great way to explain hacking to non-hackers.

Thank you for posting it, as well as for talking about the conference!

Whoa. Thrilled beyond for you. And the others. What an amazing event it sounds like it was..simply to dive in with what you love and are so good at and meet others who are as well. This poem is a fave..and describes you so much...I'll never forget how helpless I felt in the world of beginning bloggin and you set my entire site up self hosted....and then I frieked out and cancelled my account in fear of just way too much to go on here. I so have always valued how much you dive in and give 1000% to all. It stays with me..and nudges me....often. So bravo that you were honored with this privilege...You so deserve to be.:)

The first day, my one agony was that I couldn't be at the arduino miniconf! The next night, though, I ended up at a late part of the arduino hack session, and got to do a bit of connection to it, which I'll blog about tomorrow with photos, code, and silliness. Andy from geekscape may send me a kit so I can play around more and tonight I messed around with Processing so as to get the hang of things before hand. But I'll write that up tomorrow along with the rest of the talks I went to.

And so to bed!

I'm almost sure I went to the same conference as you, but I can't remember any of those talks, and they sound great :) I was (happily) stuck in the arduino miniconf the first day, and running around doing printing most of the second day, I do hope some of the miniconfs got recorded.

ciao,
