There is one comment on the “Fake Geek Girl” post that makes me so very, very happy. This gal basically kicks a “gaterkeeper”, whiney, nerd-bro out of geekdom. I am so very happy.

I followed the link from Kathy Sierra’s comment to the blog posting by Laura Sanders it responded to. It made me want to bang my head against the wall. It was part “I haven’t seen any sexism, therefore it doesn’t exist”, part deliberate misunderstanding of figures of speech and part lines pulled straight out of Derailing For Dummies. Men get raped too – oh really now? Kathy Sierra was, as ever, very classy in her response.
